Enlightening Examples

Welcome!  For today's class, we will watch the videos that were submitted by you and your classmates.  As usual, the presentation order has been sorted at random.

The assignment was to create a brief YouTube video about a real-life example of digital marketing that is a "good example" to follow. It could be an example of any digital marketing technique, even if that technique isn't specifically covered in our class.

Your task is to ...
   (1) watch each video, and
   (2) evaluate the extent to which you find the example to be enlightening and inspiring.

In your evaluations, please be forthright as well as generous.  Grades in this class are not based on a class curve, so you can give out lots of high scores and your grade will not be harmed.  Dr. DeRosia will keep individual evaluations strictly confidential.

For the purposes of your evaluations of the videos, "enlightening" means informative and edifying, and "inspiring" means giving people a good example they could directly follow or adapt to their own marketing activities.

Please note that Dr. DeRosia will assign scores based on how well each student followed the assignment instructions. So, if you think a video doesn't follow the instructions in some way, don't let that influence your evaluation.  Similarly, if you think a term wasn't used in the correct way, don't let that influence your evaluation.  Please only focus on the extent to which it's enlightening and inspiring to you.

When it comes time to evaluate your own video, please give yourself a perfect score.
